Dewey Mitchell Dawson, youngest son of Stephen Arnold Douglas "Doug" Dawson and Ida May Rodenberger, married Jewel Reed on 11 August 1927 at Hinsdale, DuPage Co, Illinois. They had one son, David Keith Dawson. Jewel was the daughter of Charles Reed and Lydia Clausen.
