On Monday, a recently discovered 2nd cousin 2x removed passed away. Jack and I exchanged a few emails sharing family history. He also wrote a 50 page autobiography detailing his life which is a wonderful piece of Jack that survives. Jack wrote in his memoir: "I have had a magnificent wonderful life & merry-go-round on this ole earth”. Rest in Peace.
Jack Spieth, of Merriam, passed away Monday, August 1, 2011, quietly at his home after breakfast. Jack was born December 31, 1929, to the late Harold and Yola Spieth in Columbus, Kansas. He worked as a mechanical engineer for Bendix and joined King Radio in 1968 designing aircraft instrumentation before retiring in 1989.
Jack enjoyed golf with his buddies as recently as 6 weeks ago, hunting, walking his dog Paws, making toy windmills, which adore the home, eating Donna’s cooking, and even mowing the lawn. He is preceded in death by his two brothers, Kenneth and Bill and sister Eudora.
